How to prepare for the health care costs of retirement

Health care expenses tend to skyrocket during retirement. And yet many retirees — and those saving for retirement — fail to plan for them.

Ben Storey, head of retirement research at Bank of America, knows this problem well. Fortunately, he says, financial advisors can help.

In a lively conversation on Arizent's Leaders Forum, Storey spoke about the many ways wealth managers can get their clients ready for the medical costs of their future. The discussion takes a deep dive into a wide range of topics, from Medicare to health savings accounts to preretirement "checklists."
