BlackRock’s Min Vol Funds Top $4 Billion

BlackRock today announced that its US-listed iShares Minimum Volatility suite of funds, which launched in October 2011, has crossed $4 billion in asset under management.

The funds are touted as a way to help investors reduce volatility and improve risk-adjusted returns in popular domestic and international equity exposures.

iShares’ suite of minimum volatility funds include:

  • iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Minimum Volatility ETF (EEMV)
  • iShares MSCI EAFE Minimum Volatility ETF (EFAV)
  • iShares MSCI USA Minimum Volatility ETF (USMV)
  • iShares All Country World Minimum Volatility ETF (ACWV)
