BNY Mellon Wealth Management Hires Managing Director

BNY Mellon Wealth Management has rehired a former BNY Mellon veteran to oversee the business strategy for the wealth management business and spearhead the expansion of the sales force, the firm announced Tuesday.

Don Quattrucci rejoined BNY Mellon as managing director of Business Development from U.S. Trust, where he most recently served as managing director and market investment director for two years.

Prior to U.S. Trust, Quattrucci had been with BNY Mellon for 17 years in a number of portfolio management leadership roles. He became regional president of BNY Mellon Wealth Management’s Rhode Island office, where he was responsible for new business development until 2011.

“Don’s extensive professional experience and deep familiarity with BNY Mellon Wealth Management is a great asset to us as we work toward growing our wealth management staff and deepening our capabilities,” Larry Hughes, CEO of BNY Mellon Wealth Management, said in a statement.

The appointment is part of the firm’s long-term recruiting campaign announced late May to add 50 new sales directors to the advisor force by the end of 2014. The firm hired 15 new sales directors through the end of the second quarter and is on track to meet its hiring goal by the 2014 deadline, BNY Mellon said.
