Boston Advisors Launches Broad Allocation Strategy Fund

Boston Advisors on Monday launched the Broad Allocation Strategy Fund, based on a separately managed account strategy the investment advisor has run for the past two years.

The fund invests in traditional and non-traditional asset classes, including global equities and real estate, commodities, currencies, closed-end funds and exchange-traded funds and takes a flexible approach to asset allocation according to changing market conditions. The fund employs both quantitative models and qualitative analysis.

“We believe the Broad Allocation Strategy Fund can play many roles in a portfolio,” said Boston Advisors President and Chief Investment Officer Michael J. Vogelzang. “We believe the fund is a significant step forward in helping investors achieve their investment goals through changing market conditions.”
