Registered investment advisors who use Portfolio Pathway to manage clients’ portfolios now have access to a much bigger picture of those patrons’ finances, after the firm struck a partnership with account aggregator ByAllAccounts.

Under the deal, ByAllAccounts, based in Boston, will provide Portfolio Pathway users with aggregated client data across all of their accounts. ByAllAccounts rounds up and presents client data from thousands of financial institutions.

RIAs who use the combined service will be able to pull up daily client balance, holding and transactional data through ByAllAccounts, plus the reporting capabilities of Portfolio Pathways. The Naperville, Ill.-based firm also serves TAMPs and broker-dealers.

“In this post-2008 era, investors want to be better informed and more involved in their financial decision making,” says James Carney, president and CEO of ByAllAccounts. “Portfolio Pathway is addressing this need by providing a unified view of assets across a household, enabling their advisors to help clients make more informed decisions about preserving or growing their wealth.”
