Calvert Cements Relationship Management Team

In addition to the launch of its latest SRI fund, Bethesda, Md.-based Calvert Investments has also announced today the hiring of Amy Mathis as its new director of relationship management.

As part of the sales team, Mathis will oversee Calvert's distribution partnerships, which include retirement and insurance platforms, broker-dealers and a 529 college savings plan.

In a press statement, executive vice president Lynne Ford of Calvert Investment Distributors, Inc., said Mathis was hired based on her "depth of experience developing and negotiating creative partnerships that provide a win-win for the asset manager, the distributor and the financial professional on the ground.”

Prior to Calvert, Mathis served as senior vice president and head of Advisors Asset Management's client relations group, managing account managers for several distribution channels investment solution product lines. Before that, she directed bank and independent planner channel relationships and business development for insurance and asset management products at Lincoln Financial Distributors as well as spent several years in sales and relationship management at Evergreen Investments, now known as Wells Fargo Advantage Funds.

Advisors Asset Management declined to comment regarding whether they would replace Mathis.
