Cohen & Steers Inc. extended its reach into European markets this week by closing a deal to acquire 50% of Houlihan Rovers SA, a Belgium-based fund manager, Reuters reports.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed by Cohen & Steers or Houlihan Rovers, which oversees roughly $500 million in assets.

Cohen & Steers also plans to attract overseas capital by collaborating with Houlihan to launch a the Global Income Realty Fund, a domestic investment designed for foreign investors seeking exposure to the U.S. real estate market that will simultaneously offer foreign real estate exposure to U.S. investors.
