Curian Nabs ALPS Exec

Curian Capital has hired Amy Temkin as vice president of strategic accounts to lead Curian’s Strategic Accounts team on driving sales and forming long-term strategic with broker-dealers.

She will be based at Curian’s Denver headquarters, and will report to Mark Schoenbeck, Curian’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

Prior to joining Curian, Temkin worked for ALPS Advisors, where she served as assistant vice president and head of institutional client relations. She previously spent more than five years with Janus Capital Group where she held various relationship management and sales positions.

“Our strategic accounts team will play an important role in Curian’s expansion,” said Michael Bell, Curian’s president and chief executive officer.“ Amy’s extensive experience in business development and relationship management make her an ideal fit for the needs of our organization.
