A meeting at the $79 billion Oregon Investment Council (OIC) last Wednesday resulted in two new investments, Jeff Sinks, communications director for the Oregon State Treasury, confirmed to Investment Management Mandate Pipeline, a sister publication to Money Management Executive.

Most notably, Tex.-based Dimensional Fund Advisors was tapped for investment management services. The OIC approved a $150 million allocation to its Micro Cap Value portfolio for the OPERF portfolio. However, there is an option to increase the mandate to $300 subject to  approval.
