DoubleLine Funds Trust has launched the DoubleLine Low Duration Bond Fund.

The fund invests in a wide array of securities with an average duration of three years or less—including mortgage-back and other types of asset-backed and securitized securities, corporate debt, corporate and government foreign and emerging market securities, inflation-indexed bonds, and bank loans and assignments.

Philip Barach, Luz Padilla and Bonnie Baha are co-portfolio managers of the new fund. Barach is president and co-founder of DoubleLine, Padilla is head of the firm’s emerging markets fixed income group and Baha is head of the global developed credit group.
