Eagle Expands DCIO Reach

Eagle Asset Management today announced that it has completed the purchase of a 45% ownership stake in San Diego-based ClariVest Asset Management.

Eagle is replacing the minority interests of several investors and is leaving ClariVest management’s ownership shares unchanged, according to the firm.

ClariVest launched in 2006 and manages more than $3 billion in corporate and public pension plans, foundations, endowments and Taft-Hartley assets.

Eagle Asset currently manages more than $21 billion in assets under management and is a subsidiary of Raymond James Financial.
