Edward Jones announced that it plans to add up to 70 new offices in western Massachusetts in the next eight years.

The St. Louis financial services company, which currently has three offices in the Berkshires region, plans to add 60 to 70 new offices in western Massachusetts by 2020, including at least 10 in the Berkshires. Currently, it has three offices in the region in Adams, North Adams and Pittsbfield.

Edward Jones currently has more than 12,000 financial advisers in more than 11,100 offices in North America.
