Ezra Zask Leaves Company He Founded for LECG Role

Ezra Zask, the founder and president of Ezra Zask Advisors LLC is leaving his own financial advisory services company in order to become a director for LECG in New York.

"His skills as a leader and an investment banker are well known, and we are pleased that he has chosen to join the firm and share his talents with LECG's clients," said Mukesh Bajaj, senior managing director and leader of LECG's global securities practice.

Zask has more than two decades worth of industry experience and in the past has served as an expert witness, hedge fund advisor, and finance professor at Carnegie Mellon, Princeton, and Yale.

Founded in 1988, LECG is a $400 million expert services and economic advisory firm that faculty members from the University of California at Berkeley created in order to help resolve commercial disputes. Zask received his B.A. degree from Princeton University and his M.A. and M.Phil degrees from Columbia University.

Fiske Leaves Pershing for Spot at Fidelity Investments

After spending more than eight years at Pershing LLC, Ronald P. Fiske Jr. is leaving the company in order to become the executive vice president of product development and management for Fidelity Investment's Institutional Wealth Services business.

"Ron's extensive experience in delivering client-focused solutions further strengthens our organization's ability to offer our clients the technology, products and services they need to drive profitable growth."

Fiske, 46, spent more than eight years at Pershing. During the last four years, was the managing director of Pershing's product management and development group. Prior to Pershing, Fiske served as the senior vice president and director of brokerage for WIT Capital Corporation.

Parkin Takes Bellatore Job, Consulting Western Biz

Tony Parkin was named regional vice president of business consulting for the San Jose based, Bellatore LLC.

In his new role, Parkin will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with advisors in the Western region. Additionally, he will help lead business consulting and in-field support efforts for Bellatore's investment counsel.

"Tony understands the challenges faced by today's advisors, and he will play a vital role in helping them put a personalized, strategic approach in place to meet their unique needs," said Bellatore President and Chief Executive Officer Al Steele.

Previously, Parkin worked at Schwab Institutional as a senior key accounts manager. He received a B.S. in Business Administration from San Diego State University.

AXA Equitable Promotes Internet Wiz O'Brien

AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company recently named Connie O'Brien as its Senior Vice President of Internet Strategy and Development.

O'Brien joined the company in April of 2007 and focused her efforts towards transforming the online experience for AXA Equitable's clients. She led a major redesign of AXA's website and plans further upgrades within the year. O'Brien received her B.A. in English Literature from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI.
