PNC Global Investment Names Wolcott President

PNC Global Investment Servicing has promoted Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Nancy B. Wolcott to president, reporting to Chief Executive Officer Stephen M. Wynne.

While Wolcott will continue to oversee investor services and relationship management, she will also handle subaccounting, banking transaction services and print mail business lines.

"Nancy's vast knowledge of the investment industry and astute application of our organization's capabilities to satisfy the needs of our clients has been the catalyst for much of our success," Wynne said. "As president, she will help guide the future progress of global investment servicing, as we enhance our transaction processing capabilities and launch new and unique business intelligence information services that span the investment continuum."

Before joining PNC in 1996, Wolcott was with HarrisBank/Bank of Montreal as head of corporate and institutional trust.

Wolcott is a director of the firm, a member of the board's servicing operating committee, a director of PFPC Trust Co., member of the board of PNC International Bank and co-chair of PNC's management committee.

Putnam Shakes Up Leaders of Finance Team; Bolotin is Named Controller

Two seasoned financial business leaders, Clare Richer and Andra Bolotin have joined Putnam Investments as, respectively, senior managing director and chief financial officer, and managing director and controller.

"I have known and worked with Clare and Andra for many years. Individually, and as a team, they bring us exceptional analytic and strategic skills."

Richer worked for more than 25 years at Fidelity Investments, most recently as executive vice president of Fidelity Management & Research Co. (FMR). From 2005 to 2007, she was chief financial officer. Earlier, she was president of Fidelity Investments Life Insurance Co. and chief of investment operations at FMR.

Bolotin, who also hails from Fidelity, was most recently the firm's senior vice president and chief financial officer of the developing business group. At the same time, she was chief financial officer of Fidelity HR Services. Before joining Fidelity, Bolotin was treasurer of Polaroid Corp. She began her career at McKinsey & Co. in 1994.

"Andra brings a management consultant's strategy focus, along with a strong grasp of asset management business' financials," Reynolds said. "She and Clare form a great team for us."
