Aneser Named Chief Marketer at Lincoln

Lincoln Financial Distributors, the wholesale distribution subsidiary of Lincoln Financial Group, announced that Richard Aneser has joined the organization as chief marketing officer.

In this newly-created position, Aneser will play a critical role in driving business results through strategic marketing for Lincoln's diversified portfolio of insurance and retirement products offered through financial advisors, institutions, insurance brokerages and consultants in the United States. He will report directly to LFD's President and CEO Will Fuller.

"Richard is an accomplished marketing professional who brings tremendous leadership and experience to our team," said Fuller. "His deep knowledge of the financial services industry and expertise in designing solutions-based marketing programs for retirement, banking, investment and advisory platforms will be an enormous benefit to our strategic partner firms and financial professionals."

Aneser joins Lincoln with more than two decades of marketing experience, on both the agency and corporate sides. Prior to joining Lincoln, Aneser served as managing director and head of advisory and solutions marketing and wealth management Americas for UBS, where he helped transform the marketing organization by focusing on tailored campaigns to drive growth at the individual advisor level.

PIMCO Announces New Managing Directors

PIMCO announced the promotion of several managing directors. "These PIMCO colleagues have contributed significantly to the firm's success in serving our clients, and are an important part of its future," said Mohamed A. El-Erian, CEO and co-CIO of PIMCO. "Their promotions reflect our confidence in their continued ability to deliver the highest quality investment management services to our clients worldwide," he stated.

Philippe Bodereau is a managing director in the London office and head of pan-European credit research. He is also the lead analyst for global financial institutions. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2004, he was a senior banking analyst at Société Générale in London and Paris.

Andrew Bosomworth is a managing director in the Munich office and head of PIMCO portfolio management in Germany. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2001, he worked at the European Central Bank as portfolio manager and senior economist.

Jennifer E. Durham is a managing director in the Newport Beach, Calif., office and chief compliance officer of PIMCO. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2000, she was a compliance examiner/staff accountant in the investment company/investment adviser examinations branch of the SEC's Pacific Regional Office.

Eric J. Mogelof, CFA is a managing director in the New York office, co-head of PIMCO's institutional business in the Americas, and an account manager.

In his previous role, he was a member of PIMCO's Executive Office, contributing to firm-wide strategic, financial and operational initiatives. Prior to joining PIMCO, Mogelof worked as a financial analyst at Salomon Brothers in their investment banking division and was also an associate at Jupiter Partners, a private equity firm.

Pyramis Hires Jones as New CEO

Fidelity's institutional money management arm, Pyramis Global Advisors, has tapped Mike Jones to serve as its new president and chief executive officer.

Before coming to Pyramis, Jones was president of the U.S. asset management division of Columbia Management, a subsidiary of Ameriprise Financial. Jones will join Pyramis in mid-March and will report to Ronald P. O'Hanley, president of Fidelity Asset Management. He will also serve as chairman of Pyramis.

"Mike brings tremendous institutional asset management experience in both investment and non-investment activities, and will ensure that Pyramis clients are receiving the full breadth of our world-class capabilities, while ensuring that we are delivering the highest levels of service and thought leadership," said O'Hanley. "He is a proven executive leader with an exceptional track record in understanding the needs of institutional investors and aligning a business to successfully meet those needs."

SGSS Appoints Werthmann Sr. Relationship Manager

Société Générale Securities Services (SGSS) has appointed Dirk Werthmann as senior relationship manager for Germany.

He reports to Jochen Meyers, managing director for sales and relationship management in Germany and Austria.

Werthmann has almost 20 years of experience in the international banking and securities servicing industry. He will be responsible for fostering SGSS Deutschland's key client relationships in Germany and Austria, thus supporting large and internationally active institutional clients. Werthmann began in 1993 at BHF-BANK. In 2005 he joined BHF BNY Securities Services as co-managing director for sales & relationship management and in 2009 was made head of domestic sales management for Germany at BHF Asset Servicing GmbH. In 2010 he became head of sales for non-financial institutions at BNY Mellon Asset Servicing GmbH and then in 2011 was named head of sales for non-financial institutions at BNY Mellon SA/NV.
