Delaware Names Nutt Head Of Renamed Diversity Fund

Delaware Investments has named D. Tysen Nutt, Jr. to lead the management team overseeing the Delaware Value Fund.

The fund, formerly the Delaware Diversity Fund and recently renamed, will be headed by Nutt, a senior vice president and senior portfolio manager. Robert A. Vogel, Jr., Anthony A. Lombardi and Jordan L. Irving, all of whom are vice presidents and senior portfolio managers, are the other members of the team. The foursome came to Delaware from Merrill Lynch Investment Managers earlier this year and now will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight and decision making of the fund.

Christopher S. Adams and Rob Ginsburg managed the fund under its previous incarnation as the Delaware Diversified Value Fund. With the name change, both managers have been pulled off the fund, but continue to manage several other Delaware funds. The fund invests primarily in value-oriented, large-cap firms that have long-term capital appreciation capability.
