Executive Moves- Invesmart Taps Three For Retirement Plan Consulting

Invesmart recently hired three industry veterans to tackle retirement plan consulting in different regions of the country. Steven Burnett has joined the firm's Maine office, where he is responsible for the northern New England region. Joseph Jennings, working out of Austin, Texas office, now oversees the Southeast region, while James Klomparens, based in Cleveland, is in charge of the northern Great Lakes region. Reporting to National Sales Manger K.C. Cannon, the three will be working for the full-service retirement firm serving more than 5,500 retirement plans.

Prior to his hire, Burnett was a vice president with Prudential Retirement, formerly known as CIGNA. He was also a sales manager for ConnectiCare and chief executive officer of Healthsource Connecticut.

Jennings was previously a senior vice president in Amvescap's retirement division and has also worked for Fleet and T. Rowe Price. Klomparens is an insurance industry expert who has worked for Universal Insurance Services as a senior plan consultant and for Union Central Life Insurance as a regional sales manager. He began his career with Principal Financial.

"We are growing our sales organization in response to the market's desire for our business model where plan sponsors' increased awareness of their fiduciary obligations are demanding open architecture, co-fiduciary support, fee transparency, institutional investment due diligence and higher service standards," Cannon said.
