Peter Suhr Joins CFG As Enterprise EVP

Peter Suhr, a well-known executive in the annuity industry, has accepted a position as executive vice president of enterprise solutions with Capital Fulfillment Group. In this position, Suhr's primary responsibility will be to introduce CFG's suite of e-content and product distribution solutions to a broad array of investment management firms, including brokerages. He will also shepherd future versions that include automated XBRL and financial intermediary database profiling and segmentation.

Suhr joins CFG after having held senior positions at a number of high-profile firms, including Alliance Capital Management, Citicorp Investment Services, ALAMO Direct and, most recently, ADP/Broadridge.

"Peter's experience and rich insight will play a significant role in our near-term goals and long-term strategy of providing clients with a single desktop solution that helps to create, market and distribute financial content in an environment that can be fully measured, monitored and managed," said Thomas Matson, managing director of sales and marketing at CFG.

Nikos Monoyios to Retire From OppenheimerFunds

After 10 years of service, Nikos Monoyios, co-manager of the Oppenheimer Main Street, Oppenheimer Main Street Opportunity and Oppenheimer Main Street Small Cap funds, is retiring, effective June 30. Current team members Mark Zavanelli, Dr. Marc Reinganum and Dr. Alex Zhou will continue in their roles and assume Monoyios' responsibilities for the funds.

With an investment career spanning more than 30 years, Monoyios is widely regarded as one of the industry's leading money managers, and has been ranked among Barron's "Top 100 Mutual Fund Managers" for the past five consecutive years.

"I'd like to thank Nikos for his significant contributions and wish him well in his retirement," said Chris Leavy, director of equities at OppenheimerFunds.

Bear's David Glaser Takes Mergers Position at BoA

David Glaser, co-head of investment banking at Bear Stearns, is the latest of several of his former colleagues to join Bank of America.

Glaser, who spent 23 years at Bear, will become chairman of the global mergers and acquisitions practice at BoA.

He joins Davis Beller, Bear's head of financial sponsors on the West coast; Adam Blackman, from the media group; Fred McConkey and Steve Lipman, managers of Bear's private equity firm relationships; and Cary Thompson, head of corporate finance on the West coast.

This exodus of Bear talent to BoA is a clear indication of the focus BoA is putting on its investment banking business.

Kringdon Heads Pioneer's U.S. Retail Distribution

Joseph D. Kringdon has left his position as managing director, Eastern regional director of sales at Putnam Investments to become executive vice president, head of U.S. retail distribution at Pioneer Investments.

Daniel K. Kingsbury, president and chief executive officer at Pioneer, to whom Kringdon reports, commented: "Joe brings proven results and leadership to the Pioneer sales team. He is a well-respected manager, and his many years of experience as a branch manager, sales manager and financial adviser give him valuable insights into the needs of our sales partners. We are pleased that he is joining Pioneer."

Before joining Putnam in 1999, Kringdon was with Smith Barney, Drexel Burnham Lambert and Merrill Lynch, where he was a vice president and mutual fund coordinator.
