Fidelity Investments has added five funds to its Spartan equity index lineup: the Spartan Emerging Markets Index, Spartan Global ex-U.S. Index, Spartan Real Estate, Spartan Mid-Cap and Spartan Small-Cap funds. This brings the total number of funds in this family to 13.
“As the nation’s No. 1 provider of workplace retirement savings plans and individual retirement accounts, Fidelity has had a longstanding focus on offering investors a wide variety of both passive and actively managed funds to help them build well-balanced portfolios that meet their financial goals,” said John Mc Nichols, senior vice president of investment product management at Fidelity. “With these new competitively priced funds, we’re broadening our index fund line-up and adding to the list of product we can offer investors, the financial advisers they may work with, as well as our retirement plan clients and their participants.”
