Fidelity EM Fund Adds New Subadvisor

The $1.7 billion Strategic Advisers Emerging Markets Fund has hired Acadian Asset Management as a new sub-adviser to the fund alongside Pyramis Global Advisors, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

John Chisholm is the portfolio manager for Acadian's portion of the fund's assets. As of August 31, Acadian, which Acadian specializes in active global and international equity strategies as well as emerging markets fixed income, had approximately $46.6 billion in discretionary assets under management. Wilfred Chilangwa portfolio manager at Fidelity Investments, is the other PM of the fund.

The fund bets on other funds with exposure to emerging markets. Its top three holdings currently include: Lazard Emerging Markets Equity, GMO Emerging Markets Fund and Aberdeen Emerging Markets Fund. It sports an expense ratio of 119 basis points.
