Fidelity Introduces New Web Site Customization Capability

Fidelity Investments of Boston announced that it is introducing an enhanced online trading section of the firm's website which provides investors with their own personal web pages.

Investors can design their own personal start pages called "Fidelity My View" with technology made available through Fidelity's alliance with Internet portal Lycos of Waltham, Mass., beginning in early October.

Investors can customize the Fidelity My View page by choosing from a menu of financial planning and trading resources such as account balances, bill-paying services, investment research, an "instant broker service" (where investors can see how a stock is doing) and even sports scores and the weather, said Jim Griffin, a Fidelity spokesperson.
