Fidelity Investments is planning to fold its Fidelity Advisor Stock Selector Mid Cap Fund in the Fidelity Advisor Growth Strategies Fund. Both funds are classified as mid cap growth funds by Morningstar.

The move will be voted on during a special meeting of the shareholders expected to be held during the fourth quarter, according to a regulatory filing. If the plan is approved, the reorganization is expected to take place in mid-December.
