Fidelity Trust Hires New Business Executive

Christopher Keating has joined Fidelity Management Trust Co. as executive vice president of sales, client service and consultant relations. A unit of Fidelity Investments, Fidelity Management Trust manages approximately $70 billion for more than 460 institutional clients.

Keating will be responsible for new business development and relationship management for defined benefit pension plans, endowments and foundations. He will report directly to Richard Horlick, president of Fidelity Management Trust.

"Chris's strategic business development and client relationship skills will be a strong asset to Fidelity and our clients as we expand our asset management products and services," Horlick said in a statement.

"His experience will help us provide the highest levels of service to our clients. This appointment underscores Fidelity's commitment to providing the strategic resources necessary to meet our clients' needs."

Keating was most recently at Deutsche Asset Management, where he served as managing director in charge of consultant relations. Prior to that, he was a principal with Boston Partners Asset Management
