Fidelity Investments and Verizon have partnered to offer Verizon’s four million FiOS subscribers access to the Fidelity Market Monitor Application that, for no additional cost, will provide them with quotes, charts, watch lists and news.

This is Fidelity’s first deal with a cable or satellite provider to offer its Market Monitor Application.

“In today’s economy, people are watching their investments more closely than ever, and the new Fidelity app enables FiOS TV customers to track their investments on their TV screens, making personal finance management easier and more enjoyable,” said Rachelle Zoffer, director of content acquisition and programming at Verizon.

“This is another way we’re putting technology in people’s hands to help them benefit from a borderless lifestyles where everything that’s important to them is accessible anytime, anywhere on their favorite devices,” Zoffer added.

Sean Belka, SVP and director of Fidelity’s Center for Applied Technologies, added: “Our relationship with Verizon is the latest in our ongoing efforts to introduce technology innovations that enable Fidelity to be there for investors on the platforms and services that they use every day.”
