Forward Management has introduced no-load share classes on three of its real estate and infrastructure funds, in an attempt to make alternatives more accessible to investors.

The three funds are the Forward International Real Estate Fund, Forward Real Estate Long/Short Fund and the Forward Global Infrastructure Fund.

“We aim to be a leader in providing individual investors with better access to alternative strategies, as we believe many investors will need to substantially broaden their asset class exposure if they hope to keep pace with their long-term return objectives in the years ahead,” said Forward Chief Executive J. Alan Reid, Jr.

Since 2007, Forward has acquired or launched nine alternative mutual funds, five of which use long/short strategies.
