Forward Management Hires Cusack as President

Forward Management has hired Jeffrey P. Cusack as president. J. Alan Reid, Jr. will remain chief executive officer, focusing on strategic direction.

Cusack’s first three main tasks will be the integration of the Accessor Funds, expanding sales into the bank channel and growing the firm’s separately managed account business.

“We are thrilled to have Jeff’s expertise and leadership as we continue to grow Forward Management,” Reid said. “We are focused on providing innovative solutions for investment advisors and institutions, and Jeff’s experience and reputation as a consultant and an innovator make him a natural fit as the firm’s new President.”

Cusack comes to the firm from JPMorgan Private Client Services, where he was in charge of a department of 370 people, as executive vice president, sales and marketing. Before that, he was senior vice president and head of managed accounts at Charles Schwab. He also worked for the consulting division of Smith Barney for 12 years, as senior vice president and a member of the operating committee.
