Hypothetically speaking, Franklin Templeton Investments’ latest tool should make life easier for its advisor clients.
That’s because the firm is touting its latest online Advantage Hypotheticals tool as something advisors can use to create reports using Franklin funds and/or funds from other providers.
“Typically, these tools limit the advisor to only the funds offered by the firm that owns the tool,” stated David McSpadden, senior vice president of Global Advisory Services.
“Our tool is different in that it lets the advisor build a comprehensive portfolio from the entire universe of retail mutual funds available to U.S. investors, regardless of the fund family. The resulting report can also be tailored to include as much analytical detail as the advisor believes the client will want to see.”
