Franklin Templeton Marches on Poland

Franklin Templeton Investments, the U.S. fund firm, will dive into the Polish mutual fund market, the Polish News Digest reports.

All the company needs now is a Polish business partner that could sell its funds there. With only $10 billion in assets under management, Poland seems to be a virtually untapped area for U.S. firms.

Franklin possessed $353.1 billion in assets under management as of August, according to results released Thursday. That represents an 18% increase from $297.3 billion from a year ago.
