Fund Managers, Brokers Expect Retail Investors to Return to Stocks

While retail investors have largely sat out the broad market rally that started in March, continuing sound economic indicators and resilient stocks should entice them back in, The Globe and Mail reports.

Already, Canadian investors are starting to move out of money market funds and equity funds, into bond funds and balanced funds, according to fund managers and brokers.

Once retail investors begin to get back into the market, institutional managers are likely to sell their positions, which could signal the height of the market and the end of the recent bull run.
