Glenmede Announces Two New Hires

Glenmede, a privately-held wealth management firm with $21 billion assets under management, has hired Timothy Fisk as vice president and wealth advisor, and Jeffrey Coron as director of Institutional and Intermediary Distribution.

Fisk joins the firm from Merrill Lynch, where he served as vice president and trust specialist in its Wealth Structuring Group. His new role will include areas of focus in wealth transfer, fiduciary, financial and charitable planning.

“In keeping with our core values, we are continually striving to provide our clients with the highest quality professional advice and service,” said Susan Mucciarone, director of Wealth Advisory at Glenmede. “Tim has a proven track record along with a background that gives him deep technical expertise on the issues most important to our clients.”

Coron joins the firm from Advisors Asset Management, where he served as Senior Vice President and Head of the Client Relations Group. Mr. Coron’s primary responsibility will be the placement of Glenmede strategies on intermediary platforms and the development and retention of institutional and consultant relationships.

“The leadership roles Jeff has held throughout his 20 year career will undoubtedly enhance our ability to grow our business as we continue to initiate new platforms for partner-building in the investment and wealth management industry,” said Sally Wirts, chief administrative officer of Glenmede. “Jeff is a leader in his field and brings great expertise to Glenmede, and we couldn’t be more pleased to welcome him to our team.”

Both Fisk and Coron will be working out of the firm’s Philadelphia office.
