Grandeur Peak Hires Two Wasatch Alums

Grandeur Peak Global Advisors is growing.

The Salt Lake City firm today announced that it has added Zach Larkin as a senior research analyst and Juliette Campbell as manager of trading and operations.

Larkin hails from Stephens, where he served as senior research analyst covering the applied and resource technology sector. Prior to Stephens, he spent six years at Wasatch Advisors as a senior equity analyst.

Campbell hopped over to the Peak from Adidas, where she worked as a financial analyst. Before that, she spent four years on Wasatch Advisors' operations team as a senior international trade analyst.

In a press release, chief executive officer Robert Gardiner said that the firm expects to soft close its two initial funds in the short-term, and ultimately plans to have six or seven strategies in the global small/micro cap area. He added that Larkin will become the seventh member of the senior research team, and that the firm hopes to grow this team to around 10 members over time.

"Adding depth to our senior research and operations teams puts us in stronger position as we expand our product line-up. We intend to remain a boutique firm with a small enough team to be able to discuss our investments together," Gardiner said.
