Greenwich Advisors Introduces India-Focused Fund

Greenwich Advisors has launched the Greenwich Advisors India Select Fund. Focused on long-term capital appreciation, the fund aims to take advantage of growth opportunities stemming from India’s economic expansion.

State Bank of India Funds Management Private will sub-advise the fund, assigning a team of nearly 300 analysts in India to provide research.

“We believe that the Greenwich Advisors India Select Fund brings new and exciting opportunities to North American investors to participate directly in India’s economic expansion,” said Suhas Kundapoor, managing director and portfolio manager at Greenwich Advisors.

“Our large, on-the-ground team of analysts and portfolio managers in India gives Greenwich Advisors the unique ability to identify investment opportunities among Indian companies with high growth potential and the ability to better adapt our portfolio to take advantage of market developments," he added.

Kundapoor expects the fund to invest in software, pharmaceuticals, retail infrastructure, banking, energy, telecommunication, metals and minerals.
