HSBC Launches World Selection Funds

HSBC has launched the World Selection Funds, sub-advised funds managed by a wide range of respected investment mangers and that employ tactical asset management to invest in multiple asset classes, including domestic and international equity, bonds, commodities, property and private equity.

“The World Selection Funds have been developed keeping investment diversification top of mind for those individuals trying to achieve long-term competitive results,” said Steve Baker, chief executive officer of HSBC Global Asset Management. “The last two years have underscored the importance of diversification not only be geography but also by asset class.”

Investors can select the World Selection Fund that appeals to their risk tolerance, ranging from conservative to aggressive.
