The Investment Company Institute has a new director of financial services policy. Michelle Mesack joins the company in the title role. She will report to chief government affairs officers and co-heads Donald Auerbach and Dean Sackett.
Formerly, Mesack was counsel with Mutual Fund Directors Forum, managing outreach to Congress and advocating for the forum’s policy positions before regulatory agencies.
Earlier in her career, Mesack worked as a legislative assistant to Rep. John Shimkus (R-IL) and legislative analyst for the House Republican Conference.
