Nicholas Moore has been named senior equity research analyst, specializing in the high technology sector, at Jurika & Voyles, L.P. Previously Moore was a vice president with Orbitex Management, where he was portfolio manager of the Orbitex Growth Fund. Before that, he worked for Franklin Resources where he was a co-portfolio manager for the Franklin California Growth Fund, assistant manager of the Franklin Small Cap Growth Fund and a technology analyst for the Franklin Funds.
Richard A. Gluck has joined the fixed income team of the Ivy Funds as a portfolio manager. He will manage the Ivy Bond Fund and the Universal World Income RRSP Fund, which is distributed in Canada.
Gluck came from Oppenheimer Capital, where he managed a global fixed income fund and global and emerging market funds for institutional clients.
H. James Blakeslee has been named senior vice president and tax-managed product manager for Liberty Funds Distributor, Inc. Blakeslee will provide account managers and regional sales directors with his expertise in tax-managed products.
Blakeslee comes from Zurich Kemper Life, where he was senior vice president and director of Zurich's Private Client Group in its Financial Strategic Business Unit. Before that, he was director of tax and qualified planning for The Hartford's Individual Annuity Division.
