Frederick Marius has been named president of Quantitative Advisors of Lincoln, Mass., and executive vice president of the Quantitative Group of Funds. He was previously vice president and counsel at Putnam Investments of Boston.

David Downes has been named president and chief executive officer of Delaware Investments of Philadelphia. Downes will also continue serving as executive vice president and chief operating officer at the company.

Michael Kenneally has been named president of Bank of America Investment Management, the newly consolidated money management division of Bank of America Corp. of Charlotte, N.C. The division, whose creation was announced Aug. 23, combines Bank of America's mutual fund and institutional units as well as its money management unit catering to high-net-worth individuals.

Thomas Tyler has been named national sales manager of Mainstay Management of Parsippany, N.J. Tyler has been with Mainstay since its founding in 1986 and was most recently Eastern regional sales manager.

Marilyn Morrison has joined Wanger Asset Management, the adviser to the Acorn Family of Funds in Boston, as vice president of public relations and shareholder communications. She was previously with Stein Roe Mutual Funds of Chicago, Ill.
