Rhonda Rosen has joined Putnam, Lovell, de Guardiola & Thornton of San Francisco as a managing director in the investment banking/mergers & acquisitions group. Rosen was previously with CIBC World Markets of New York.

Adrian Jackson has been named vice president and wholesaler for the financial institution division of Franklin Templeton Distributors of San Mateo, Calif. Jackson had been with another division of Franklin Templeton as Ontario sales manager for Templeton Management Ltd.

Elizabeth Elliott McGeveran has joined Friends Ivory & Sime, an investment management firm of London, as vice president for ethical research. Friends Ivory & Sime has a family of socially-responsible funds.

Donald J. Morrissey has been promoted to vice president, legislative affairs at the Investment Company Institute. Morrissey will head the legislative affairs office at the institute, where he has been a legislative representative since 1995. He fills a vacancy created when Leslie Woolley resigned.

Sean M. Healey has been named president and chief operating officer of Affiliated Managers Group of Boston. He had been an executive vice president at the firm since 1995. Healey joined AMG from Goldman, Sachs & Co. of New York where he worked on mergers and acquisitions of financial services companies.
