John Murphy has resigned as president of MassMutual Institutional Funds of Boston to join OppenheimerFunds of New York as president and chief operating officer. This is a new position and is part of a new management structure to align Oppenheimer's mutual fund and retirement businesses, said Bridget Macaskill, Oppenheimer chief executive officer, in a statement.

Michael Leverone has joined Delaware Investments of Philadelphia as vice president of client services for sub-advisory services aimed at the offshore market. Leverone was previously vice president for global financial markets at State Street of Boston.

David Marky has joined Friess Associates, the investment adviser to the Brandywine Funds of Greenville, Del., to oversee compliance. Marky was previously director for fund accounting and administration at PFPC Global Fund Services of Wilmington, Del.
