ING Beefs Up DCIO Unit

ING Investment Management US has ramped up its defined contribution investment only team with a trio of new hires.

Ron Dietrich joined the firm’s marketing team as Marketing Program Manager, a newly created role, responsible for developing and managing DCIO “value-add” programs across channels. He joins ING IM from AXA Equitable.

Also, Paula Smith joined the firm in a new role as head of DCIO products, reporting to Andy Simonoff, Head of Product Management for ING IM. In this new position, Smith focuses on developing and leading the firm’s DCIO product strategy. Prior to joining ING IM, Smith was vice president, Retirement Plans at Columbia Management.

Christine Stokes has also joined the firm as senior retirement product manager. Stokes, who focuses on developing, managing and supporting retirement products, joins the firm from Alliance Bernstein, where she most recently worked as vice president, Partner Relationship Officer focusing on target date strategies within institutional retirement plans.
