Linklaters & Alliance, an international law firm based in Brussels, is offering a new Internet database, called Blue Flag Funds, which gives mutual fund companies information on starting investment products in other countries.
With Blue Flag Funds, a mutual fund firm can find out if an investment product meets the regulatory requirements of particular countries.
The product currently offers information on 21 countries in Europe and Asia. Information on eight more countries will be introduced this summer, said Emma Huntington, a marketing officer for Blue Flag Funds.
