Invesco Gives Advisers A Place On The Web

Investment advisers can now create a customized Web site within the Invesco Funds adviser pages. The revamped Web site, which Invesco is offering at no charge, provides advisers with news and commentary and enables them to keep track of customer accounts.

Just by registering at the Invesco site, an adviser can set up a "key account watch list" of account activity of their top clients. Advisers can also track any Invesco funds, keeping up with information on performance and fund holdings.

With links to company and industry news alerts, the site's stock watch list allows advisers to keep an eye on virtually any security. In addition, the site includes commentary from portfolio managers, videos and sales ideas.

"Building relationships with professional advisers is a primary goal," said Terri Berg, vice president of marketing communications and electronic commerce. She also stressed that this was a beginning, not an end, and said there would be ongoing improvements in the coming months.

Although registration is necessary, Berg said the custom sites were open to all advisers, even those with no current relationship with Invesco.

The sites may be viewed only by the advisers who create them. Their clients will not be able to share the information. In fact, the firm warns that the information it provides to professionals through the sites may be inappropriate for investors.
