Invesco’s Small Companies Fund Changes Name

Effective August 1, the Invesco Small Companies Fund will change its name to Invesco Select Companies Fund, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

The $1.2 billion 4-star rated fund bets on small-cap companies in the semiconductors, data processing and health care supplies sectors, among others. It is managed by Robert Mikalachki, Virginia Au and Jason Whiting.

Its net expense ratios range from 103 basis points for Y shares to 203 bps for C shares.

A spokesman for the firm was not immediately available to comment on the fund’s name change.
