John Hancock Mutual Funds has launched three new fundamental equity funds, the John Hancock Fundamental Large Cap Core Fund, John Hancock Fundamental Large Cap Value Fund and John Hancock Fundamental All Cap Core Fund.

The three new funds are managed by the U.S. core value equity team at John Hancock Asset Management, led by Walter T. McCormick and Emory W. Sanders, Jr. The team employs a bottom-up research approach, focusing on financial stable companies with sustainable competitive advantages with high barriers to entry and strong cash flow potential but that are selling at discount.

“John Hancock Funds is pleased to add these new funds to our lineup,” said Keith F. Hartstein, president and CEO of John Hancock Funds. “Managed by a premier asset management team with a strong long-term record, these new funds fill important style boxes for our investors.”
