John Hancock Investment Management Services has filed with the SEC to launch the Global Equity Fund. The fund will be sub-advised by the company’s John Hancock Asset Management a division of Manulife Asset Management.
The fund will be available in A shares with an expense ratio of 148 bps. Managing the fund at John Hancock Asset Management will be Paul Boyne and Doug McGraw.
In managing the fund, the sub-advisor seeks to identify undervalued companies that exhibit attractive valuations, solid business franchises, sustainable margins/cash flow, disciplined capital allocation, strong management teams and strong balance sheets.
Manulife Asset Management is a sub-advisor to a number of retail investment products offered by John Hancock Financial Services in the United States. In this sub-advisory role, the company uses the name John Hancock Asset Management, a division of Manulife Asset Management.
