JPMorgan Hires Sales Exec in Italy

JPMorgan Investor Services Europe, Middle East and Africa has hired Mariagrazia Polo as a sales executive in Italy.

Polo previously worked with the Bank of New York in London, where she sold security-processing services in Italy and Greece. Before that, she spent seven years as an associate representative at the Bank of New York's Milan office.

Mark Westwell, who heads the development of new business for investor services in the international unit, said hiring Polo is part of a stepped-up effort to draw business from Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

"Our appointment of Mariagrazia is the last piece of the jigsaw puzzle in place in order to take advantage of the opportunities in [those regions] and deliver our next phase of growth from the major continental domestic markets," he said. "With significant pools of fund assets - continental Europe offers real opportunity."
