Kringdon Heads Pioneer’s U.S. Retail Distribution

Joseph D. Kringdon has left his position as managing director, Eastern regional director of sales at Putnam Investments to become executive vice president, head of U.S. retail distribution at Pioneer Investments.

 

Daniel K. Kingsbury, president and chief executive officer at Pioneer, to whom Kringdon reports, commented: “Joe brings proven results and leadership to the Pioneer sales team. He is a well-respected manager, and his many years of experience as a branch manager, sales manager and financial adviser give him valuable insights into the needs of our sales partners. We are pleased that he is joining Pioneer.”

 

Before joining Putnam in 1999, Kingdon was with Smith Barney, Drexel Burnham Lambert and Merrill Lynch, where he was a vice president and mutual fund coordinator.
