Philadelpia-based Lincoln Financial Distributors, the wholesale distribution subsidiary of Lincoln Financial Group, has added Chris Somers as a regional sales director for its Institutional Retirement Solutions Distribution team.
IRSD focuses on selling Lincoln’s full service retirement plan services offerings for corporate and nonprofit/tax exempt plan sponsors. Somers will be based in San Francisco.
In this capacity, reporting to Michael Hall, National Sales Director of Lincoln’s IRSD team, Somers will be responsible for selling Lincoln's Retirement Plan Services’ open-architecture product through financial representatives throughout the Northern California Pacific Northwest regions.
Prior to joining LFD, he was a retirement specialist with PIMCO Investments.
