Long-Term Funds Take in $3.91B

Long-term funds look in $3.91 billion in the week ended May 11, the Investment Company Institute said.

Equity funds had total net outflows of $950 million, although foreign stock funds took in $1.3 billion. Domestic stock funds had outflows of $2.25 billion. Outflows from equity funds totaled $1.91 billion the week before.

Hybrid funds had outflows of $792 million, compared to inflows of $2.24 billion the previous week.

Bond funds had outflows of $4.07 billion, compared to inflows of $6.18 billion the previous week. Taxable bond funds had inflows of $4.04 billion, while municipal bond funds had inflows of $38 million.
