New York Life, the parent company of Mainstay Investments, has hired Don Desiderato as senior managing director and chief technology officer.
Desiderato is senior managing director and chief technology officer in the investments group, reporting to John Kim, president of the investments group. He is responsible for the retirement administration, distribution and marketing, investment operations and warehouse platforms, along with infrastructure services and business/IT risk management.
Prior to joining New York Life, Desiderato was most recently a principal and industry analyst at Novarica, a research firm that provides insights, and perspective on markets, operations, and technology to financial services and insurance executives.
