Matrix Bancorp has hired Ralph Peluso as VP of strategic alliances for a joint venture it has formed with OPTECH Systems. The venture, Matrix Settlement & Clearance Services (MSCS), provides automated clearing for mutual funds and other investment companies.
Peluso formerly served as director of alliances with third-party advisers for GoldK, where he also developed products. Before that, he spent several years at Circle Trust Co., where he helped develop mutual fund trading platforms.
At MSCS, Peluso will oversee and review the venture's relationships with fund companies, said MSCS President John Moody.
